Assetta Scorecards

Technical Specifications

Architecture

The Scorecards solution is built using a web services architecture, utilising Microsoft SQL Server and .NET Framework components. Presentation to the user is via a modern web browser, with no installation footprint on the desktop.

Flexible Database

The hybrid database design in Scorecards allows a user-defined range of attribute information for each class of asset. No pre-packaged, one-size-fits-all table definitions constrain the organisation's view of its assets.

Context: WMS

Scorecards uses universally available web mapping solutions such as Google Maps to provide context data for locating above-ground and road assets. An Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)-compliant Web Map Service (WMS) allows the display of context data from a customer’s GIS system. A location wizard tool allows users to import aerial photographs, floor plans and other images to provide context that is geo-referenced.

Location: WFS

Location data or geometry for assets and road centrelines is communicated via an OGC-compliant Web Feature Service (WFS), for interoperability with GIS and other location-aware business applications.
