Assetta
Assetta was formed in 2005 with a goal of solving the fundamental problem that has always plagued asset management — the inability to have all of the information about all of your assets in one place.
That solution is called Assetta Scorecards.
Assetta head office is in New Zealand and is home to the senior management team, and the product development and production (involving a team of up to 10 people). The sales, services and support functions are managed by Assetta Australia Pty Ltd, and Assetta NZ Ltd.
In 2006 Assetta increased its capital base by bringing in private investors, and extended the Board of Directors at the same time. Gowan Pickering was appointed Chairman of the Assetta Board and he brings a wealth of expertise to the company through his past role as CEO of IBM in New Zealand, his current directorial and advisory board roles across a number of organisations and his position as Associate Commissioner with the (NZ Government) Commerce Commission.
Mark Bell-Booth is the founder of Assetta and CEO. An entrepreneur and businessman of some note, Mark was elected Mayor of a city and in all of those roles he experienced the frustration of not being able to obtain timely, reliable information about the assets he was responsible for — and sometimes the information never surfaced! His determination to solve the problem led to Assetta being formed.
Assetta’s structure is lean, with three senior managers reporting to the CEO. Those roles are:
| Product Development | John Allott |
| Implementation & Support | Jonathan Dann |
| Sales & Marketing | Andy Smith |
In addition, key national roles include:
| Australian Sales Director | Ray Ferdinand |
| Neil James | |
| New Zealand Sales Director | Bryan Winters |
